Maryna & Dewald – River Meadow Manor

Maryna and Dewald moved their wedding date up to July to accommodate the family. It was a brave move, since most couples avoid winter weddings. We met the Friday before the bid day at the venue, and it was freezing. We had concerns as to how the outdoor ceremony would proceed if the mercury dropped under the 10 degree mark. In winter you know it will not rain and it may be freezing cold. So we prepared ourselves for a cold winter’s day. The Saturday arrived balmy and sunny. A more perfect day you could not imagine. The outside ceremony under the leafless trees worked well, and the hall was cosy and warm in the evening. The longer sunset provided soft warm colours and a longer time to photograph. Maryna is a budding photographer in her own right and she takes the most adorable baby photos.
