Ane & Pieter E-shoot at Irene Farm
The lovely Irene Farm remins of the old Dutch painter with their rustic farm themes. The day was perfect for photos: soft light filtered by clouds. Ane bought all the props and a carfull of ideas – even the yellow volla. I look forward to their wedding in March!

The giant 747 aeroplanes of the SAA museum at the Rand Airport is the majestic background for this couples engagement shoot. Heleen and Willie took effort to dress the part with a vintage look to complement the era of stylish travel.

E-Session in Newlands
Hannalize and Wesley had to do their engagement shoot in the middle of winter. That did not stop us from finding the most colourful surrounds to do the shoot. They were such a fun couple, from the start we were laughing and playing around.

Yolanda & Quintin E Session at Sammy Marks
I took Yolanda and Quintin’s engagement photos at Sammy Marks. The rustic backdrop and country look is a favourite of mine. Yolanda is also a photographer, but I think she works quite well in front of the camera!

E-Session of Melissa and Meyer
With every engagement session I tell the happy couple that they can choose whatever they like as a theme. It can be a place that they like, an activity they do, or a theme they love. Melissa (the make-up artist I often recommend and work with) and her fiancé Meyer, decided to go to a friends’ horse farm and have some fun on horseback. Her love and ease with horses was evident in her decision to get on horseback in high heels.
