When F Wilson Fashion decided to advertise in Bride’s Diary 2011 edition, they asked me to do the photography and artwork. We have been working together for a year now, and I had a good understanding of their unique style and design. We decided that the ad should reflect their fantasy style. One of their brides was kind enough to come in and pose in her dress, a week before her wedding. The dress was made of an oyster coloured silk and embellished with Chantilly lace they purchased in Venice. I fell in love with the dress the moment I saw it, and was very pleased with the results. The second dress was their design for the 2010 Bridal Africa designer competition. The huge detachable skirt covered a little party number. The blonde model, Bianca, is a favourite of Frits and Johan, and she is so much fun to work with. Thank you to Mia for the make-up and Brigitte for the hair.
