Moments by Annalene Photography will be exhibiting at the Marriage Meander Journey in June and July. The Marriage Meander Journey is a leisurely coach trip transporting you and your retinue/ mum/ fiance to select wedding venues and allowing you the opportunity to experience the ambience, cuisine and staff at each venue in an intimate relaxed atmosphere.

Along the way you will meet professional wedding suppliers with displays and presentations at each hosting venue. Carefully selected for their expertise and experience within the industry, these professional wedding suppliers will share with you a wealth of information, ideas and advice.

The Marriage Meander Journey on the 9^th June has so many exciting elements to it, including a chocolate tasting, a dance lesson and the opportunity to meet some of the top Marriage Meander suppliers who will assist with ideas and advice throughout the day.

The hosting venues include Memoire Function Venue, Casalinga Ristorante and EnGedi Estate. Here you will have the undivided attention of the venue coordinators, sample their cuisine and experience the venue as one would for a function.

There are fabulous gifts and prizes along the way and all in all, it is a fun filled Journey for the bridal couples, friends and family to bond during their wedding planning phase.

Expo4Brides 2013

Thank you to everyone who visited me at my exhibit at the Expo4Brides. This year it was held at the Heartfelt Arena in Centurion. This new venue is an improvement on the Showgrounds of the previous years. Melissa Minne Bridal and I worked together on this again – a great partnership with a fantastic make-up artist.

Galagos Wedding of Bernadine and Quintin

Galagos wedding venue has a lot to offer. I was looking forward to photograph Bernadine in this venue, since she is so photogenic. Photos of their engagement session at Ukutula Lodge with the lion cubs were featured in the posters around the venue. Quintin was very excited to meet his wife-to-be. We headed to the fields and received a lovely scenic soft sunset.

Ane & Pieter E-shoot at Irene Farm

The lovely Irene Farm remins of the old Dutch painter with their rustic farm themes. The day was perfect for photos: soft light filtered by clouds. Ane bought all the props and a carfull of ideas – even the yellow volla. I look forward to their wedding in March!

L’Aquila Wedding of Melanie & Hendrik

Fresh in the new year, Melanie and Hedrik married at L’Aquila wedding venue in Pretoria East. The day was clear and warm, the bride excited and the guests in a party mood. We took photos at Sammy Marks as well and the sunset was amazing.

Wedding Unzipped

For the editorial piece in Weddings Unzipped magazine, the theme was “Birds of flight”. This take on spring was inspired by the idea of birds and birdcages. The fabulous F Wilson dresses were the only focus. These are the final edited photos that were used.

Traditional Wedding for Rhoda and Sydney

It was two very hot days at the end of December when Rhoda and Sydney did their white wedding the traditional way. Two days of ceremonies, speeches and changing dresses was exhausting too watch, never mind do! We finally did a post-shoot at Monte Casino where we had time, light and control.

Morgenzon venue for Simon & Anli

Simon is from the Netherlands and met Anli on an international working assignement. They made the long distance relationship work until he moved to SA. They are soooo much in love, all beaming smiles and hugs. The family came from Europe and they had a great time at the wedding. We did the photoshoot at the airport and had the most beautiful light.

Newborn Emma

Maryna and Dewald welcomed the newest member of Emma their family in November. She decided to show up early. Two weeks later I had a chance to meet and photograph the little angel. She is such a little heart stealer!

Green Leaves wedding for Magdel and Steven

On the last repeat date of the century, Magdel and Steven tied the knot at Green Leaves. 12-12-12 has a nice ring to it and a good wedding anniversary date. As always the venue delivered on great atmosphere and service. I just loved the bride’s dress and veil. It had the right amount of drama for the venue, and she was not afraid to pose with it. We got fantastic photos of the scenery and day.
